The Blue Pools of Atzala consist of seven pools of crystalline turquoise waters surrounded by waterfalls, rocky walls and abundant vegetation. Its name means "in the middle of the waters" in Nahuatl.

It is a good place to cool off but the water is cold. You should also be careful with children and if you do not know how to swim very well, since they reach a depth of up to 8 m. But in the pools there are places to rent life jackets.

The best season to visit them is from November to May, when the blue color of these natural pools is best perceived. However, in the rainy season you can enjoy fascinating and powerful waterfalls.

Some of the activities that you can do here in addition to swimming, are climbing the rock walls that surround the pools, canyoning, rappelling, hiking and enjoying the exciting zip line with two circuits of 300 m and 200 m and hanging bridges that offer spectacular views of the natural landscape.
