This is a monument planned and constructed by the famous muralist David Alfaro Siqueiros.

This masterpiece is a polyhedral-shaped building decorated both inside and outside. It consists of twelve panels covering over 9,000 square meters and is titled "The March of Humanity on Earth and towards the Cosmos. Misery and Science."

It is a three-dimensional mural, or rather a "sculpto-painting," combining metals and acrylics on concrete panels with steel.

The mural's meaning is a metaphor for the struggles that humanity has fought throughout history in its pursuit of knowledge and freedom.

The Polyforum is located within the World Trade Center complex.
