Mismaloya has a pretty cove backed by rugged, rocky hills with a huge hotel complex.

The beach offers one of the best views that can be appreciated from the viewpoints, hotel terraces, and restaurants. The place is quite famous as the shooting location for “The Night of the Iguana.” More recently, the movie “Predator” was filmed upriver.

The beach has excellent accommodation options, as well as craft and jewelry shops.

It is located very close to the Los Arcos Ecological Reserve, so you can also enjoy the scenery of these enormous rocks.

This is one of the best places for snorkeling and diving.
