Museo de Celaya Historia Regional
The Museum of Regional History in Celaya features eight rooms showcasing the history of Celaya.
The exhibition includes paintings, monuments, photographs, and various artifacts.
The first room presents the Pre-Hispanic past of the Bajío region, displaying settlements of different ethnicities and groups that inhabited the area.
The second room offers an exhibition about the history and importance of the Coat of Arms of Celaya.
The third room covers the colonial period.
The fourth room presents an exhibition highlighting the significance of the city's neighborhoods and the traditions that have been preserved to this day.
The fifth room is dedicated to the history of the 19th century, including the Independence movement and the magnificent works of the architect Tresguerras.
There are other rooms featuring temporary exhibitions, interactive pieces, folk art, workshops, concerts, conferences, and guided tours.
