The caves are also known as Actun Spukil. They extend for 5 km and, along with Loltún, are undoubtedly among the largest in the Yucatán Peninsula.

They have a complex system of tunnels, so it's necessary to hire a guide to explore them. There are tours with different levels of difficulty, so you can choose whether to walk, crawl, climb, or slide through the tunnels.

They have vaults of up to 30 meters where stalactites, stalagmites, and various calcareous formations can be seen. You can traverse narrow tunnels, climb with ropes, and go through dark and muddy areas.

Inside, deer bones and bones of other animals, ceramics, a quartzite hammer, arrowheads, obsidian knives, stone sculptures, human burials, and haltunes (stone structures to contain water) have been found.
