It is one of the most well-known cenotes in the Tulum area, so it's best to arrive early to avoid crowds.

It has an almost completely circular shape with a diameter of 202 meters and a depth of up to 12 meters. The temperature ranges from 24 to 26°C.

It is part of the Sac Aktun underground river system ("white cave" in Maya), whose flow comes from the interior of the Yucatan Peninsula.

It is one of the best cenotes for diving in the area, although swimming and snorkeling are also possible.

It offers rental of swimming fins, life jackets, masks, and snorkeling equipment, as well as changing rooms and lockers. Visitors are required to shower before entering to keep the water clean from contaminants such as sunscreen and insect repellent.

The cenote is surrounded by beautiful green areas, and you descend through a natural stone staircase and wooden planks.

The cenote consists of a series of interconnected caves with waterways, allowing swimming from one end to the other while observing a great variety of fish in its crystal-clear waters. There are buoys for less confident swimmers, and there are areas that are not as deep, allowing walking.

However, caution is necessary due to sharp rocks covered in moss, which can be slippery. Inside the cave, it is important to remain silent to observe bats flying overhead, as well as some birds.

For diving enthusiasts, there are incredible landscapes with stalactite and stalagmite columns of all shapes and sizes, as well as enormous roots and vines connected to the surface trees. It is not uncommon to see green turtles in the surroundings.
