This fountain is an exact replica of the one located in Madrid on Paseo de las Cibeles.

It has become an icon of the Roma neighborhood.

It was inaugurated in 1980 on the site of the former Plaza de Miravalle. The sculpture was donated by Spanish residents in Mexico as a symbol of friendship between the two nations.

It is surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, and bars.

A few steps away on El Oro Alley, every Saturday and Sunday, Bazar El Oro is installed, offering a wide variety of items and snacks.

Location

Intersection of Oaxaca, Durango, and Medellín avenues.
