April Festivities, Tampico
Dates: March 26 to April 13
Location: Tampico, Tamaulipas
These celebrations take place within the framework of the city’s founding anniversary.
The fair offers a theater, wrestling shows, commercial and gastronomic expos, as well as mechanical rides and various sports and cultural events.
MTY Fair (Feria MTY)

Location: Arena Monterrey, Monterrey, Nuevo León
This venue transforms into a major gathering point for local families and visitors, offering fun, entertainment, and experiences for all ages. It features a wide amusement park area, from kids’ rides to extreme attractions.
The fair also showcases concerts and performances by a variety of renowned artists, along with a diverse culinary offering. There are commercial areas, brand activations, and spaces designed for family-friendly experiences.
Expo Feria Coatza
Dates: March 27 to April 5
Location: Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz
This event highlights the very best of the city, including its gastronomy, music, art, and traditions. On the art side, it features participation from various galleries, while the culinary scene ranges from street food to proposals by local chefs in the city’s restaurants.
It offers concerts across multiple genres such as rock, electronic music, and folk groups. There are also conferences, panels, workshops, play areas, and educational activities.

National Fair of the Huasteca Potosina FENAHUAP
Dates: March 27 to April 5 abril
Location: Ciudad Valles, San Luis Potosí
This event features parades, horseback rides, "chorreada", bicycle challenges, concerts, and People's Theater.
It always offers a good lineup for the Palenque and People's Theater.
Additionally, there are mechanical rides, handicraft sales areas, gastronomic displays, and cultural events.
Zacatecas Cultural Festival
Dates: March 28 to April 11
Location: Zacatecas, Zacatecas
During this festival, Zacatecas comes alive with music, dance, theater, literature, and visual arts, offering activities for the whole family. It features everything from large-scale contemporary music performances to traditional expressions.
San Luis International Festival
Dates: March 28 to April 4
Location: San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosí
This festival brings together the best exponents of early and Baroque music and contemporary dance, as well as a myriad of artistic activities such as dance, theater, cinema, and music.

Holy Week
Dates: April 13 to 20
Location: Nationwide
Holy Week is one of the most important religious celebrations in Mexico. It is celebrated in every town in the country. The most important days are: Palm Sunday, which commemorates the day Jesus entered Jerusalem with songs and palms; Holy Thursday, which celebrates the Last Supper; Good Friday, when representations of the Via Crucis and the crucifixion are performed; Holy Saturday; and Easter Sunday.
Aqüifera Festival – Chapultepec Forest

Location: Chapultepec, Mexico City
With over 300 activities spread across different sections of the forest, the festival includes virtual reality experiences, concerts, interactive installations, talks, and more than 100 workshops.
National Enchilada Fair
Dates: April 4 to 12
Location: Soledad de Graciano Sánchez, San Luis Potosí
A festival full of flavor, color, joy, and fun in the place famous for the unique way of making delicious Potosino enchiladas.
Soledad de Graciano Sánchez is located just 8 km from the state capital.
The fair features a theater, mechanical rides, artistic, sports, and cultural events, as well as commercial, craft, and gastronomic areas.
More than 60 exhibitors from different parts of the country participate, and a contest is held to award the best enchilada.
Ice Cream, Mezcal, Gastronomy, and Crafts Festival
Dates: April 10 to 12
Location: Tlacolula, Oaxaca
During the festival, more than 50 exhibitor stands are set up, offering regional products, especially traditional mezcal and a variety of breads.
This gastronomic showcase is accompanied by musical events, Guelaguetza presentations, parades, and dances.
Polanco Jazz Festival

At this festival, you can enjoy rhythms such as jazz, soul, funk, and pop, with both national and international artists.
Wanter Lanter Festival
Dates: April 18 & 19
Location: Acitlalin Lake, Xochimilco, Mexico City
Inspired by Thailand’s Yi Peng Festival, this event invites attendees to release floating lanterns with personal messages or decorations. Food stands and music create a magical atmosphere.
National Fair of San Marcos
Dates: April 18 to May 10
Location: Aguascalientes, Aguascalientes
This is the largest and one of the oldest fairs in Mexico, attracting over 8 million visitors each year.
The event spans over 90 hectares with areas specially adapted for various activities.
Highlights include the San Marcos Island, also known as "The Family Place," featuring a beautiful artificial lake, diverse gastronomic offerings, mechanical rides, commercial areas, a large zip line, and the most notable livestock exhibition in Latin America.
The People’s Theater, with a capacity of up to 20,000 spectators, presents various free evening shows.
There is also a "Club Zone (Zona de Astros),” considered the largest in the country, with various themed nightclubs offering different music genres.
The Monumental Bullring hosts top bullfighters for all bullfighting enthusiasts.
Additionally, there are spaces for various artistic expressions such as music, painting, theater, dance, sculpture, and cinematography.
Ezequiel Montes Meat and Wine Fair
Dates: April 22 to 26
Location: Ezequiel Montes, Querétaro
The event includes mechanical rides, a gastronomic showcase that of course includes delicious wines and meats, as well as craft sales. There are also musical events featuring renowned artists.
Livestock and Industrial Expo EXPOGAN
Dates: April 22 to May 17
Location: Hermosillo, Sonora
One of the most anticipated fairs in northern Mexico, offering a wide range of attractions and activities.
The Palenque features shows by internationally renowned artists. In addition, there is an important livestock, commercial, and industrial exhibition, as well as a “teatro del pueblo,” rodeo shows, extreme zone, amusement rides, circus, and sports and cultural events.
Puebla Fair
Dates: April 23 to May 10
Location: Puebla, Puebla
The Puebla Fair is part of the celebrations commemorating the Battle of May 5th and is one of the country's most important celebrations. It features high-quality shows in its two forums: the Artistic Forum and the Palenque.
At the Civic Cultural Center 5 de Mayo in the Forts area, a wide variety of artistic, gastronomic, and cultural activities are presented, along with mechanical rides and various shows.
National Donkey Fair
Dates: April 25 to May 13
Location: Otumba, State of Mexico
A unique fair where the donkey is the main attraction. Events include donkey races, donkey polo, and a contest for donkeys dressed up as political and entertainment figures.
There is also a burrodrome, mechanical rides, agricultural expo, craft and tourism pavilion, theater, and cultural events.
The event also features a craft exhibition and a gastronomic showcase with typical regional dishes such as barbecue, mixiotes, and curado pulque.
The fair concludes with a grand dance featuring a prominent guest artist.
