AQUISMÓN
Cueva del Agua (Cave)
It has stalactites that invite you to climb. Located in Tamul, in the Huasteca Potosina, 45 minutes from Aquismón.

Guadalcázar
It is an area recognized as a climbing paradise and is located about 80 km from the city of San Luis Potosí. There are two sport climbing areas: Grutas las Candelas (Candelas Grottos) and San Cayetano, and a bouldering area.
In the caves there are large stalactites or tufas that invite you to climb. To climb here it is recommended to have experience since they are routes that reach up to 30 m (98 ft).
In this protected area you will also find Las Comadres hill that offers granite balls that can be very fun to climb. This experience can be combined with practicing rappelling in "las hoyas" located in the area. Also here is Joya del Metate, which has very good routes with tufas. Located an hour and a half from the city of San Luis Potosí.
La Joya Honda
Located in Soledad de Graciano Sánchez, 45 minutes from San Luis Potosí, in a crater with an approximate depth of 150 m (492 ft) with vertical yellowish walls that are excellent for climbing or rappelling. In the background there is a very particular microclimate, where endemic shrub species have developed and is the habitat of numerous animal species.
Cueva de los Caballos (Horses Cave)
It is a not very high cave with few routes but with good grips. Located in the Valley of the Ghosts within the Sierra de Álvarez, approximately 46 km from the city of San Luis Potosí.
Other options
The impressive collapsed routes of Gruta de las Candelas, La Joya del Salitre or San Cayetano are a must for those who like this hectic sport.
