La Ventanilla

You can visit La Ventanilla, a quiet village in the middle of exuberant mangrove vegetation, a refuge for various species of birds and reptiles such as ducks, herons, iguanas and crocodiles.

You will find a crocodile farm, an establishment for breeding and raising of crocodilians, beside they are also working on mangrove afforestation in the coast.

In the mangrove it is not difficult to discover turtles, dolphins and a great diversity of fish.

Llano Grande

To enjoy the natural beauties and traditions of the area, you can visit the community of Llano Grande with a great diversity of flora and fauna, especially known for its coffee plantations.

After exploring a nice coffee plantation you can hike through the tropical jungle until you see the beautiful Cascadas de Llano Grande waterfall and a crystal clear natural pool where you can swim and cool off.
