Centro Cultural Casa 6
The Cultural Center is located within the former cloister of the San Francisquito convent, which was built in the mid-18th century using quarry stone and masonry.
It features a cloister flanked by semi-circular arches, with a cistern in the center.
It functioned as a convent and later as a hospice until 1859, when it became the venue for the State Congress until 1967.
Most of the furniture and accessories are replicas. However, it provides a clear image of a 19th-century mansion, so when you enter the building, it's like taking a trip back in time.
It houses the Román Piña Chan bookstore and a souvenir shop.
