It is buried deep in the Rio La Venta Canyon. Getting there can be tricky but it is completely worth the trip. When you arrive you start walking down more than 700 stairs to get to the canyon and continue through this beautiful rainforest and after about 20 to 30 minutes you will get your first glimpse of the falls.
You can actually explore all over the mossy rocks, lounge in its natural pools, and experience the power of the water as you stad underneath its gushing cascades. There are also caves you can walk into and explore and the whole scene is so tropical and beautiful it feels like you’re in a movie or another world. The most amazing is the one known as "El Encanto" with an underground river and a waterfall with the name of "Don Nicho".
