CUERNAVACA

Amacuzac River

This river can offer you two different adventures, rafting and canyoning. Here you can explore all the natural landscapes that flow through the river, along the way you will have to rappel 35 m (114 ft) high cliffs, swim and several jumps to natural pools from various heights. It is located 45 minutes from Cuernavaca.

TEPOZTLÁN

Río Granados

The route to travel the Granados River includes two interesting 35 m (114 ft) and 15 m (49 ft) rappels and 8 free jumps into the water from heights ranging from 2 (7 ft) to 10 m (32 ft). Depending on whether it is rainy season or not, the river has or not water.

Cañon del Tesoro (Treasure Canyon)

Walk trails through wooded landscape to reach the canyon and live an experience that includes 3 rappels ranging from 8 to 25 m (26 to 82 ft). It is located approximately one hour from Tepozotán.

El Paso Tlahuica

It includes wooded trails in the middle of a biological reserve and 12 rappels of various heights. This option includes spectacular views of Tepoztlán.

Ojo de Agua

It offers a beautiful route and 8 rappels from heights ranging from 4 to 15 m (13 to 49 ft). It is located approximately 25 minutes from Tepozotán.

 

Canyoning in Morelos

Vuelo del Águila

It offers a 3.5 km tour in Tepoztlán that includes walking, 7 m (23 ft) climbing and up to 11 rappels, which in rainy times includes rappelling in waterfalls, is very physically demanding but it is also fun.

Tepozteco National Park

It offers several little-explored canyons that combine various adventures, including three descents ranging from 15 to 20 m (49 to 65 ft). The advantage of this tour is that you can also visit the impressive archaeological zone.

Cañón de la Luz

The tour is an exciting adventure where you will have to do 8 rappels that will go from 10 to 25 m (33 to 82 ft) and you will also walk through beautiful trails where you will learn more about the local flora and fauna. It is located 25 minutes from Tepoztlán.

TLAYACAPAN

Cañón del Sol (Sun Canyon)

The tour includes several rappels and jumps at different heights ranging from 8 to 18 m (26 to 59 ft). In some sections you have to make an aditional effort so it is a moderate grade itinerary. It is located just 20 minutes from Tlayacapan.
