It's a gorge, formed by the tributary of the Extoraz River, about 10 meters wide, framed by black marble walls that reach up to 100 meters, making the landscape unique.
In the area, you can find petroglyphs and cave paintings, remnants of the ancient Chichimeca culture.
At the bottom of the precipice, you'll find the waters of the Extoraz River, which occasionally allow for navigation. In fact, during the rainy season, the river grows so much that there are some suspension bridges used to cross from one place to another. However, during dry spells, you can walk within the riverbed, and the water will only reach your knees.
