This is a very pleasant way to enjoy nature and be able to observe a sky full of stars at night. Morelos has a wide variety of options like natural or water parks and unforgettable places.

CUAUTLA

Las Estacas

The camping area has amenities such as: showers with hot water, lights until 11 pm, bathroom area and dressing rooms. Experience the beautiful landscapes and swim in the pools or in its river with waters that vary from turquoise to emerald green.

Additionally you can enjoy other activities such as horseback riding, zip lining, fishing, paddle surfing, diving, snorkeling, kayaking and rafting.

Las Estacas also offers the Glamping experience since it has 25 special tents with king size beds or two singles and you will enjoy a luxury breakfast. It also has a private bathroom and you can live the experience of enjoying nature at night. It is located 40 minutes from downtown Cuautla.

Campamento Los Cuexcomates

In the camping area there are palapas, grills, children's games and swimming pools, as well as changing rooms, bathrooms and internet service.

It is located just 100 m from an impressive archaeological zone of Chalcatzingo and in the middle of a beautiful natural environment from where you have an impressive view of Popocatépetl, 40 minutes from downtown Cuautla.

Jagüey El Caracol Recreational Park 
It has wonderful camping areas near a beautiful body of water that offers trajinera rides. You can also go hiking and horseback riding. It is located in San José, El Caracol, within the municipality of Yautepec, 30 minutes from downtown Cuautla.

Camping in Morelos

Agua Limpia

It offers a camping area, restaurant, swimming pools, slide, wading pool and green areas. You can also rent horses to ride around the area. It is located in Villa de Ayala, 20 minutes from Cuautla.

Santa Isabel

It has perfectly maintained green areas where you can set up your camp. In addition, it offers cabins, swimming pools, a wading pool, a restaurant, children's games, as well as beautiful springs and a lake. It is located in Tlaltizapan, 40 minutes from Cuautla.

CUERNAVACA

Los Manantiales de Tlalquitenango (Springs)

It offers a pleasant natural environment with waterfalls, grills, showers, fire pits, surveillance, swimming pools, wading pools and beautiful natural pools that have a temperature of 27ºC. It has extensive green areas and incredible waterfalls. It is located in Coaxitlan, one hour from downtown Cuernavaca.

Zempoala Lagoons National Park

It has beautiful areas for camping, either in the middle of the oak, pine and oyameles forest or next to one of the seven beautiful lagoons with their incredible shades of green and blue. Additionally, you can enjoy the appetizers and the delicious fresh fish from the area. It is located 40 minutes from downtown Cuernavaca.

Parque Ecoturístico Chisco Tubing (Ecotourism Park)

It is a place that has everything for the whole family where you can enjoy nature to the fullest. The park offers campsites with a campfire and stargazing. It is located in the south of the state and near Cerro Frío, and in here you can experience an exceptionally dark sky that allows you to see the stars as you rarely have the opportunity to see them. The camp also has a large 8'' telescope to look for your favorite star, planet or constellation.

Another unique thing about this park is that they have authentic American Tipis and you can have the experience of sleeping in a real Indian house, something that especially children will not forget.

Being close to the Amacuzac River, you can enjoy the excitement of rafting or a quiet and fun activity known as tubing, which consists of a journey of approximately one hour on a tire over the river. The park provides you with a vest and all you have to do is let yourself be carried away by the current of the river.

There are also ultralight flights. It is located 50 minutes from downtown Cuernavaca.

Campamento Zapata (Camp)
In addition to its natural attractions, it is an historic place because according to the locals this spot was one of Emiliano Zapata's favorite places. There are camping areas and you can enoy hiking, a fantastic chance to see diverse plants and animals of the region. It is located in Santa Cruz, Tlaquiltenango, 55 minutes from downtown Cuernavaca.

Baneario Las Tortugas (Water Park)

The park has an incredible camping area in the middle of extensive green areas. Additionally, it has a swimming pool, wading pool, suspension bridge and 6 zip lines. It is located at the entrance of the Huixastla community, an hour and a half from Cuernavaca.

Las Huertas

It has a nice camping area but the park also offers cabins, a restaurant, swimming pools and a wading pool. You can walk to the mouth of the Amacuzac River and discover a small 5 m high waterfall. It is located in Xicatlacotla, Tlaquiltenango, 55 minutes from downtown Cuernavaca.

Los Amates

It is an amazing campsites and the camping area has permanently sanitized toilets, electricity and lighting. Additionally, there are beautiful and spacious gardens, swimming pools, a wading pool, a slide, a restaurant, cabins, children's games, sports fields, dressing rooms and tent rentals. It is located in Tlaquiltenango, 40 minutes from downtown Cuernavaca.

Real de San Nicolás

The park offers a camping area, pools with slides, sports fields, children's games, grills, restaurant and a bar. It has a very cozy atmosphere because of the nice walkways and the small cobbled squares. It is located in Zacatepec, 40 minutes from downtown Cuernavaca.

TEPOZTLÁN

Meztitla

It is an area that belongs to the Scout Association of Mexico but is open to the public. It has bathrooms, showers, surveillance, rappelling and climbing courses and of course beautiful camping areas. It is located 10 minutes from Tepoztlán.

 

Xopilco

This ecological camp offers the possibility of camping in a unique landscape. It has hammocks, bathrooms, horseback riding and food sales. It is located in Amatlán de Quetzalcóatl in Tepoztlán, 17 minutes from Tepoztlán.

Centro Ecoturístico Quetzalcóatl Temachtiani (Ecotourism Center)
This center offer a great variety of natural beauties because it is surrounded by a Flora and Fauna Protection Area, Chichinautzin Biological Corridor and the Tepozteco National Park.

It has a nice camping area, a hostel and a pool. Here you can enjoy horseback riding and hiking. It is located in Amatlán within the municipality of Tepoztlán, 20 minutes from the center of the Magic Town.

TLAYACAPAN

Parque Ecoturístico Los Venados (Ecotourism Park)

It offers camping areas and renting tents. It also has other services such as cabins, community museum, snacks and zip line. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to live with the friendly white-tail deer. It is located in Totolapan, 15 minutes from Tlayacapan.
