Bosque y Zoológico de Mexicali
This recreational park features playgrounds for children, a zoo, vast green areas with barbecue pits, a water park with slides, pools, and wading pools, as well as a lake where you can take boat rides.
The zoo is home to over 25 species of mammals, including coyotes, jaguars, antelopes, lions, and tigers, among others. You can also admire a wide variety of birds such as macaws, pheasants, cockatoos, and toucans, as well as an interesting crocodile enclosure, an interactive farm, and a serpentarium.
Another attraction of the forest is the opportunity to take boat rides around the lake, enjoy a picnic in its pleasant green areas, take a ride on the little train, and during the summer, there are various water activities in the pool and wading pool.
Within the forest, you'll also find the Museum of Natural History, a botanical museum, and an open-air theater.
The park has a restaurant, cafeteria, and parking facilities.
