This is a park in downtown dating back to the late 18th century.
It is an ideal place for a leisurely walk under the shade of lush trees. On the exterior railings, you can enjoy photography exhibitions.
It was opened to the public in 1804, and notable figures such as Maximilian, Porfirio Diaz, and Francisco I. Madero have walked through it.
You can find a monument to Miguel Hidalgo, which gives the Alameda its name.
Its facade is in the Tuscan style and was designed by Agustin Rivera and Antonio Loyola Vera.
