North of Michoacán there is a strip of springs that goes from the eastern limit of the entity to the northwest end of the Chapala swamp and is known as "La ruta de la Salud" (The path of health), made up of more than 400 springs.
The chemical composition of its waters and the fact that it is found in favorable climatic conditions make them unique.
These springs have been the origin of magnificent spas and water parks that are located in the middle of beautiful landscapes, mainly mountain forests, where visitors can relax and enjoy extraordinary natural landscapes.

La Chorrera Ecological Park
Natural site with a river that flows to Melchor Ocampo dam. Several spas are located on the banks of the dam. The park is an hour and a quarter from Cuitzeo.

Balneario Eréndira

Kauar Tikuri Hot Springs

ZAMORA
Ixtlán de los Hervores
It offers several hot springs, as well as toilets and a children's play area. Additionally, there is an attractive geyser that reaches great heights and is known as “Ixtlán de los hervores”. It is located in the municipality of Ixtlán half an hour from Zamora.
