Tampaón River

It is an extraordinary setting, it runs in the middle of a great canyon made of limestone with turquoise blue waters, an authentic wonder of the Huasteca Potosina. This 18 km route is an exciting challenge since the river has class III rapids formed by large rocks and the abundant flow of water from the river. Along the route you can see a great variety of birds, including hundreds of parrots.

The ideal season to take the tour is from November to March. A hidden beauty 50 meters away of the Tampaón river is a beautiful cavern flooded with crystalline water and navy blue tones, called by the locals the Cueva del Agua, where you can swim without any risk.

Río Micos

This is a fun, familiar, exciting and very moderate risk descent with a beautiful setting touring the lower part of the Micos waterfalls. The route is 10 kilometers and class II. The rainy season is the ideal time to experience this tour.
