Museo de Arte de Sinaloa, MASIN (Art Museum)

The building that houses it was built in 1837.

It is a building that has witnessed several important historical events, as it was the City Hall, the seat of State Powers, and later used to house the municipal police until 1990 when it was decided to rehabilitate it and convert it into a museum.

It safeguards one of the main plastic collections in northwest Mexico, which consists of more than 400 pieces, including works by Diego Rivera, Juan Cordero, Francisco Goitia, Roberto Montenegro, Gerardo Murillo (Dr. Átl), José Luis Cuevas, Lilia Carrillo, Francisco Toledo, Rufino Tamayo, Pedro Coronel, and Francisco Moreno Capdevila, among others.

It has seven rooms used for temporary exhibitions and one room with a permanent exhibition, as well as an auditorium and a store.

The museum offers guided tours and an art library.
