Museo de Arte de Querétaro
The Art Museum is located in the Ex Convent of San Agustín, one of the most important Baroque cloisters in America, built between 1731 and 1743.
The former convent was restored in 1889 to house federal offices, and since 1988, it has been the headquarters of the Querétaro Art Museum.
It features 10 exhibition halls displaying mannerist, baroque, neoclassical, and modern works from the 18th and 19th centuries.
The museum possesses the first collection of 20th-century art with 380 donated works, thanks to the generosity of creators, various public and private institutions.
The museum offers guided tours, workshops, conferences, and concerts.
