Volcán de Colima, also known as the Fire Volcano, is one of Mexico's most active volcanoes. As you climb this elevation, it is not very difficult to see the volcano having an explosion a few times per day while, but there are no major hazards in the area considering the frequency in which they occur and the distance they reach. Throughout the tour you have the opportunity to observe abundant flora and fauna.
The Nevado de Colima Volcano is the highest peak in the State with a height of 4335 meters above sea level. It offers its visitors an incomparable natural reserve with deep ravines, pine, oak and oyamel forests and an extensive variety of wild fauna and flora and as you go up you see the changes in ecosystems.
The ascent to Los Picachos at the top of the volcano is reserved only for professionals and with a guide.
