To paddle along the coral reefs that run parallel to the Riviera Maya coast is a unique experience. This sport can be practiced on the coast of Playa del Carmen, Hacienda Tres Ríos, or in Boca Paila and Punta Allen, within the Sian Ka'an Biosphere, where it is really exciting to kayak the routes used by the ancient Mayans between the channels, estuaries, mangroves and reefs.

There are some cenotes where you can also practice kayaking, such as the K'áak cenote.
