There are several places to rent bikes.

The hotel zone has a nice 11 km bike path flanked by palm trees. Each kilometer is signposted and it is advisable to do it early in the morning or at sunset to avoid the hottest hours.

There are also excursions through the mystical sacbes (the ancient paths that linked the Mayan cities together). You can cycle through lush junge and marvel at the incredible cenotes, Mayan communities and some sites that will surprise you. These aventures can last several days.

In Puerto Morelos there are tours that take you to see the town and its surroundings.
