CUAUTLA
El Rancho El Limón
It is located in the Sierra de Huautla and you can ride surrounded by the flora and fauna characteristic of the Low Deciduous Forest in the south of the state. It is located an hour and a half from Cuautla.
Parque Ecoturístico Chalcatzingo (Ecotourism Park)
It has some trails that are ideal for cycling, some of them take you to the archaeological zone. In this park you can also enjoy hiking and rappelling. It is located in Chalcatzingo, Jantetelco, 40 minutes from Cuautla.
TEPOZTLÁN
Parres – Tepoztlan Trail
This is a good way to enjoy the landscape with exuberant vegetation, cultivated fields, volcanoes and forests along the 45 km bike adventure. It is located 45 minutes from Tepoztlán.
Mountain Biking in Morelos
Tlalpan – Tepoztlan Trail
One of the best options is the rural bike path that runs from Tlalpan to Tepoztlán. To start, there are several accesses for the first section that runs from Tlalpan to Topilejo, a passage full of wooded landscapes. The second section goes from Topilejo to Fierro del Toro, and the last section goes from Tres Marías to Tepoztlán. Along the cycle path there are 8 service stations with ecological toilets, rest areas and bicycle repair.
Tepoztlán
In Tepoztlán there is a small mountain range that runs northwest of the Magic Town with an incredible landscape and several descent routes with unique hills for downhill practice. In general, the surroundings of this town have tracks for experienced cyclists with curved reliefs, single tracks, drops and natural obstacles; to make them more challenging, artificial obstacles have also been incorporated such as cants, ramps and wave areas.
However, there are also routes for beginners. Among the most recommended routes are: Sendero del Coyote, Cañadas and Jorobado.
TLAYACAPAN
Parque Ecoturístico Los Venados (Ecotourism Park)
It is surrounded by beautiful forested landscapes that you can explore by bike. It also offers horseback riding, zip lining, and trails you can explore. It is located in Nepopualco, Totolapan, 15 minutes from Tlayacapan.
