ATLIXCO
In the Atlixco area you can camp and enjoy the waters that come from the melting of the Poopocatépetl in the Axocopan Water Park, with some services such as a children's play area, showers and swimming pools.
Los Ahuehuetes
It is located in the Tepeojuma region, which is only 45 km from Atlixco. It is a body of crystal clear and warm water surrounded by giant ahuehuetes that are more than 100 years old. The pools have a depth of 5 m (16 ft). It has camping areas and you can also enjoy swimming pools, slides and grills.
CHIGNAHUAPAN
Campamento Tlatempa
It is a unique place to enjoy nature on the shores of the Barranca de los Jilgueros just two kilometers from the center of Zacatlán. This camp provide you with tents, sleeping bags, mats, showers with hot water, jacuzzi and suspension bridge. There are also comfortable cabins, ecological bathrooms, bike rides and a temazcal. If you like adrenaline, you can camp in a tent on the top of a tree or they can swing on the edge of the ravine. It is located 40 minutes from Chignahuapan.

Totolapa and Salto Chico Waterfalls
Both are located approximately 15 minutes from Huachinango, they are very good options to enjoy nature. In the case of the second one, also known as the Xonopa Waterfall, you can interact with the inhabitants of a small community who have preserved their uses and customs.

El Aguacate
It is a beautiful place located south of the Valsaquillo Dam with waterfalls that fall into emerald pools. Parque Nacional Popocatépetl —Iztaccíhuatl
Another option for camping is the Popocatépetl-Iztaccíhuatl National Park, where there are very pleasant places where you can enjoy the silence that prevails in the mountains. You can camp in the areas for public use: Paso de Cortés, La Joyita, La Joya and Llano Grande. It is importat to know that the weather ranges from cold to very cold, so you must bring the necessary implements and clothing to face the weather. It is located one hour and 45 minutes from the city of Puebla.
Ex Hacienda de Chautla
This is a very special place to camp and it offers 40 fenced hectares, making it a very safe place and has an impressive view of the lakes and the castle or main building. It is located one hour from the city of Puebla.
ZACAPOAXTLA
Apulco
It is a paradisiacal place bathed by the river that bears his name, in an area of more than 50 hectares, forming beautiful and imposing waterfalls, worth admiring together with the topography, vegetation and climate that provide health, tranquility and peace. Valle de Piedras Encimadas

It is located an hour and a half from Zacatlán.

It is located 25 minutes from Zacatlán and is a spectacular place with beautiful wooded landscapes and a spectacular 300 m (984 ft) high waterfall.
