The Alchichica Lagoon a good training place. You can try a different experience in its cold and crystalline waters that have an average temperature of 17ºC.

The lagoon has the characteristics of a small, immense sea, since it has salty waters, and thermoclines, which is the transition layer between the warmer mixed water at the surface and the cooler deep water below.

Additionally, Alchichica has several endemic species such as the Alchichica Charal and Taylor Salamander, that is why we highly recommend being careful not to harm this unique ecosystem.

The expeditions to this lagoon can be canceled in extreme weather conditions. It is located one hour and 45 minutes from the city of Puebla.
